This book is a comforting story that children have heard as a bedtime story. It has a catchy rhythm and soft illustrations. The main plot is the bunny saying goodnight to everything. The book is very classic and educational in the way that it names many things that young children 3 and up would understand. The purpose of the book is to help children fall asleep by saying goodnight to everything. Children might like it because of the vibrant colors and the basic words. As a bilingual educator I want to be able to use this book to help with vocabulary. The words in this book can be a guide to someone learning the language

An fun tale of a caterpillar's transformation into a beautiful butterfly, engaging young readers with its colorful illustrations. This book is one of my favorites! I love it because it teaches life science by showing the life cycle of the caterpillar. It teaches nutrition and patience. Children like differences in books so having the pages be different sizes and having holes in them keeps them engaged because it's not a normal book.

This is a fun and imaginative story that has playful rhymes with a lesson about environmental conservation. The illustrations are the number one thing children will be looking at. They are not like any other illustrations because they have made up animals and cool trees and people. The rhyming is also a fun aspect about this book, it makes one practice vocabulary and makes it silly at the same time.

This is a heartwarming story that teaches us about the culture and the importance of peoples background. This book teaches children about diversity and will stay with them as they get older. I love this book because I was able to relate to it in many ways. I always had a hard time trying to explain where I am from because of my ethnicity. I believe this book does a great job in explaining the little girls side of the story and how it was resolved.

This poems has some rhyming and also has a "real" but "not real" story. It's about the winter and how he is cold and wants the sun to come back but he fell asleep. I think it's a fun poem for children because they will understand the seasons and I can ask questions like "Did the sun really fall asleep?" and they can answer and make it fun. It can also be the start of a project where students can make a similar poem about their favorite thing. My favorite part is when the winter is "crying" because it adds personality to the poem.
