Produce, curate, enact & record a large-scale tableau style photograph which captures your group project in a single scene (Situated Drawing). This should be viewed as a high-quality ‘visual artefact’ that will be printed on a large scale.

As part of your process, you will research methods of ‘World-Building through Image-Making', unpack key references from fine art, architecture & contemporary photography, and receive relevant photography training.

To conduct your ‘Situated Drawing’ you will create a set of props & costumes to communicate your vision imaginatively. You should consider how to best represent living or microbial organisms that may constitute part of your projects.

Your work-in-progress will consist of storyboards, 3-dimensional vignettes and sketches that will support the development of the resulting photograph and the various elements it aims to bring together. Such outputs will be used during the Show and Tell on 26.02 to present your intentions and aspirations behind the ‘Situated Drawing’.

Photography will take place on the 13th & 18th of March, supported by members of staff and photography experts.
