It was an actual case study and I got to break it all the way down. From the intake from reading the case to see what was wrong, how to question the client, and breaking down the problem. It showed why it is important to be able to build a good relationship with your clients, so you can give them the best care.

It did start off bumpy and I didn't think it was going to get done, the team came through with flying colors. It also made me reflect on how everyone has different ways of doing things, that is why it is good to be open minded and ready for change. It came together beautifully in a way I would not have imagined. The different ways it was put together was not something I could have done by myself.

It made you breakdown all of the disorders, find definitions and then how you can help a person suffering from it (websites and materials). It made me think of all the people who are suffering from one form of mental health or another and don't have access to all of the free resources which is really a tragedy. I hope one day mental health won't be so taboo and they can get the help that they need.

    These will all be crucial to my role as a counselor because this is the code that it goes by. You have to be true to your self and have the support and confidence to be able to help the clients while maintaining ethical rules and confidentiality.
