This book is called "My teacher is an Alien" and this is written by Bruce Coville. This book has total pages of 140. I deiced to read this book because I wanted to try a series book. Also, the cover looked fun to read and I like comics (like Aliens and more). If I add, I actually tried to read this book in 5th grade but my friends kept recommending other books so I didn't had time to read this book. So I wanted to try this book again in 6th grade.

The setting of this book is school. Author helped me to realize that this book's setting was school because on the cover, it shows a word "teacher", shows locker, backpack, students with books. Also, in inside of the book, there are some words like "test", "teachers", "principal" and more words that recognize me that this setting is school.

In this book, Peter and Susan Simmons decided to go to his teacher's house to find out whats in his house because Broxholm is alien. The major reason why they went in to Broxholm house was that one day, Mrs. Schwartz disappeard. Also, Susan and Peter thought it was because of Mr. Smith. So they went. However, if Susan was me, I wouldn't go to Broxholm house because we cant know whats in his house, what happens if he comes to house while we investigate, he could kidnap us and lead us to DEATH. Also, I think, I won't care about Mrs. Schwartz.

If this book's setting was Mr. Smith's house at beginning, I think the setting will be changed broxholm's house to School. Also, the story will be changed. In my opinion, the beginning of story would be changed by Susan and Peter exploring Broxholm's house (aliens) and found out some evidence that Broxholm is REAL alien and tell to the whole school.

The problem of this book called "My teacher is an Alien", is that Susan and his friend found out that his teacher, Mr. Smith a.k.a Broxholm, was a Alien and wearing mask of normal person to kidnap five students to the space. He will kidnap the best, the worst and three most average students. Susan and Peter's goal is to expose him by taking the mask off so everybody can know Broxholm was an alien.

In this book called "My teacher is an Alien", there were major 3 characters. Susan is a girl who is smart, Peter is a boy who is friend of Susan and Broxholm a.k.a Mr. Smith who is an under cover alien that came to Earth to kidnap 5 students. Susan has a long hair which color is a blonde. She acts like that she wants to work out something that doesn't work with friends since its scared to do alone, sometimes when she is mean, she acts bad to her friends and acts kind. Her trait is that she is very famous and has lots of friends. Some important quotes about her is "None of your business!", "This is private, OK?", "Whats matter?" (politely) and "You ruined it!" and more...

Peter is a boy who has a short hair color of blonde. (Gold). He acts very normal, who is very normal like other students. He is also Susan's friend. Sometimes, when hes mean, he shouts to friend and doesn't want to make out with the person that fight with. His trait is little bit famous, likes to read and wants to do with his friends. Some important quotes are "NO, DON'T DO IT", "I'm sorry.." and "Ok! Lets do it"

Broxholm a.k.a Mr. Smith, is a alien who came to Earth and kidnap 5 kids. He will kidnap the best, the worst and three most average students. He acts just like human since he is alien. If he gets expose, people will expose him once again and end Broxholm's life. He hates other teachers so he kidnapped Mrs. Schwartz and did not let her go. However, Susan and Peter safely saved her by invading Broxholm's house. His trait is that he isn't that famous around school and his evil inside. Since, most of the students doesn't like Broxholm, he isn't famous a lot. He is evil inside since he acts he is really kind to teachers and students. However inside of him, he is planning to kidnap students and do experience with them. Some important quotes are "I have an plan", "I will kidnap them and bring to you guys" and "be ready"

In this book, I think author is trying to say that be kind to each other. I thought this way since in the last chapter, Susan's best friend, Peter got kidnapped by Broxholm as known as Mr. Smith the alien. After Susan knew that Peter got kidnapped by Broxholm, Susan regrets what she have done to him and felt sorry for him.

After I read this book, this book reminds me "captain underpants" because it has a villain include. In addition the setting is same. School. Since the villain is same as alien came to school and trying to kidnap the whole school. Then, hero comes out and defeat the alien. Same as this book, My teacher is an Alien book also has some same scene such as alien kidnapping the students and Susan, the hero helps Alien run away, however Broxholm sadly kidnaps the students and runs away.

This book is very organized and structured really well. I thought this way because when I read this book, I easily understand the structure and how is it organized. In addition, I understand the whole book by rising action, climax and solution. That is because, for the rising action, the author explained really well how the problem started. Second, for the climax, I could understand that this part is climax by alien kidnapping. Lastly, for the solution, I could know the part that I was reading was solution because, the sentence said "Finally, its over" and it was also the last page of the book.

by reading this book, I think I know the author is telling this story to the students that hates each other. I thought this way because in this book the author is trying to tell that friends should be kind each other. Since, the students that fight with one another, they would hate each other. However, like what this author is telling, always kind to each other, they would be kind and have a good relationship again.

In this book, there are two main characters. Susan and Peter. I think their relationship is that they are really friendly to each other or the best friends. That is because, in the last page of the book, Susan misses Peter that got kidnapped by alien as known as Broxholm. In addition, they always hanged out together and be kind to each other.

This book has 213 pages. I decided to read this book because the cover of the book looked fun to read. Even though I read this 4-6 times, I wanted to read this book since I wanted to read comic book in this reader's notebook. In addition, I like to read comic books but I want to challenge my self by not reading comic books, reading chapter books. Also, there are a lot of pictures, fun problems, and more.

In this book, the problem is that she got knocked off two front teeth. Since it was a big problem that happen to Raina, she went to dentist. As she was getting treated by the dentist, she heard that she have to do the brace for the teeth. She didn't wanted to do the braces, but she had to do to repair the two front teeth. So, she agreed. First, she got the frame of the two front teeth and waited until the teeth was getting use to it. Later, she got used to it, so she got the braces. As the time past on, she got used to it and changed the thickness of wire. Eventually, she took the braces off from the teeth. However, she didn't liked, but her friends cheered up her so she felt better.

While I was reading this book, I had some commons with main character. The commons that I had with main character was that I was wearing braces just like her. She also went to doctor often to make the wire more tighten. Also, I'm same grade as her (in the front of the book), go to school, and has friends. In addition, I also took out some teeth to do braces just like her and accidentally took my teeth when I was running.
