The program believes that every individual have chances to excel and the program aims to nurture holistic and skilled Bumiputeras in horticulture technology and agriculture industries that can contribute their knowledge to society and country in enhancing food, herbal and ornamental supply to ensure sustainable development for the future generation.

1.      A competent graduate who applies and synthesizes the knowledge, understanding and fieldwork experiences in providing quality services to the government agencies and agrotechnology industries.

2.      Graduate who leads and engages in teams in problem solving tasks across disciplines through effective communicative abilities.

3.      Graduate who continues to advance knowledge and abilities to explore business opportunities in the agrotechnology related industries.

4.      Graduate who practices ethical and professional values in providing services to the receipients and provider of government agencies and agrotechnologist industries.

The program requires coursework in both the management and technology, with a focus on the complex relationship among science, technology and management. The purpose of the program is to provide students with a scientific understanding of horticulture technology and other related disciplines that can be applied in the horticulture and plantation industries context. As such the program combines theory and practice, technical and management. 

The programme believes that every individual can excel and the programme aims to nurture ethical and caring bumiputra health and fitness experts in tandem with Malaysia’s aspirations to promote healthy lifestyles for its citizens

Programme Educational Objective (PEO)
The faculty of Sports Science and Recreation’s programme of Bachelor of Health and Fitness (Hons) produced:

1. Health and Fitness Expert who has adequate mastery on knowledge and skills in promoting health and fitness. 

2.    Health and Fitness Expert who has professional attitude and ethic in fulfilling his or her responsibilities towards the Creator, client and the society. 

3.   Health and Fitness Expert who is able to adapt him/herself to the international work environment with current scientific knowledge and skills related to health and fitness. 

4.    Health and Fitness Expert who has strong entrepreneur and leadership qualities that can lead all level of organizations related to the field of health and fitness.

1.       Biomedical scientists or clinical laboratory practitioners who synthesize, apply and organize the knowledge, understanding and laboratory experiences to provide quality products and services to the government agencies and science-related industries locally and globally. [LOD1, LOD2]

2.       Biomedical scientists or clinical laboratory practitioners who lead and engage in teams in problem solving tasks across disciplines through effective communicative abilities. [LOD5, LOD6]

3.       Biomedical scientists or clinical laboratory practitioners who utilize ICT to advance their knowledge and skills and to explore business opportunities in the science-related industry locally and globally. [LOD7, LOD8]

This program aims to develop trained passionate and caring professionals who are able to screen, assess, construct treatment plan and conduct interventions for the treatment and rehabilitation of drug addicts, so as to reduce the significant health, social and economic problems associated with substance use disorders (SUD).
