One new thing I learned about Miguel is that he got the rail road position that he was wishing for and is very happy In the text it states, "She watched miguels animated face, thinking that at at last, his dream was coming true".

The author included this information about the character because before he was told that he couldn't do that position because he was Mexican so they had him fixing the train tracks but now he got the job that they told him he couldn't do which was the rail road job.

A word to describe miguel is... Excited because when he got the job at the railroad he was happy because that was his dream, to work there.

One new thing I learned about miguel is that miguel had gotten hisdream job to work at the railroads since most of the worker went to srtike so which means that miguel would be there for only temporary but if he does a great job he will stay.

The author included this information about the character because... a little before he got told that he couldnt work work there or wasnt able to work in that part of the job and since most workers stiked miguel could work there.

Women in the camp brought her more skeins of yarn.
