<title>Family-Owned Weather Shield Windows and Doors by Weather Shield Windows and Doors</title>
      <link>https://padlet.com/WeatherShieldWindowsandDoors/About</link>
<description>Since 1955, Weather Shield Windows and Doors has created flexible and innovative window and door solutions to both commercial and residential customers. These products are available in a range of designs, including bi-fold doors, casement and special-shape windows, and in a variety of materials. Beyond that, the company offers products according to unique specialties, such as hurricane-impact and historic windows. Thanks to Weather Shield’s dedication to putting customers first, it has become a leading manufacturer, with more than 2,000 employees who share the company’s commitment to serving clients’ desires.

Weather Shield was founded by Edward “Lee” Schield, who used his personal savings to buy aluminum extrusion parts and assemble them by hand into storm doors. These products were sold to customers in central Wisconsin. Over time, Mr. Schield expanded his company and accepted more and more orders as his business grew.

Weather Shield is still based in Wisconsin and is still a family-owned company. Currently, three generations of the Schield family are involved in the company’s daily operations. These individuals, along with the rest of the company’s staff, are responsible for ensuring that Weather Shield products are high-quality and constantly evolving according to new concerns in the industry.
