One of the most important things to build teamwork is trust.

When people trust each other—when they know their teammates have their back, will pull their weight, and communicate honestly—it creates a solid foundation for everything else. Trust makes it easier to share ideas, give feedback, take risks, and solve problems together without fear or tension.

Of course, communication, respect, and shared goals matter too, but without trust, teamwork never really clicks.
