Basically sejahtera is aligned with sustainability. But in this era how do we gain sejahtera when almost everything human done lead to disaster? For example, human create plastics which they used it excessively until the streets, rivers and seas were filled with the plastics. These actions done by human itself lead to environmental pollution that later gives them consequences as the saying goes "what you give you get back". Recently, Malaysia were shocked with the incident of flood that occur badly in few states. We can say that excessive dumping of plastics and other rubbish into places that weren't supposed to be it place such as rivers are one of the causes of flood.  As nowadays, every packaging of food use plastics as its cover of packaging, there is nothing much we can do. Usually, when my mother and I go to grocery shopping, we will bring our own bag (the blue IKEA bag), so we won't have to use plastics to carry our groceries. Not only we can save money (since the supermarket charge 20 cents for each plastic), we also can lessen the usage of plastics. Other than that, when we dine in at restaurants, we should standby our own containers or tupperware, in case we couldn't finished the food. Instead of throwing it away, we can opt to 'tapau' it which not only spare us from wasting the food plus it also lessen the usage of Polyethylene terephthalate (PETE or PET) which is made from plastic.
