The goal of this course is to produce river warriors... I am joking. But this is partially true.

I hope at the end of this course, you will learn some basic theory of open-channel hydraulics and realize its role in river design, including river rehabilitation and conservation activities.

I will introduce HEC-RAS software as means to appreciate the theory part. Don't worry much about this part.

Dr. Goh will be a part of the team. She has wide experience in the industry. She will focus more on the river rehabilitation.

Last but not least, Prof. Aminuddin who is an expert in sediment transport will introduce the fundamental of sediment transport and also take you to the site for sampling! .

If the schedule allows, I am planning for a site visit related this course.
