Definition: A government in which a king or queen act as head of states but legislation is created by an elected parliament. The constitution sets up a framework of government limiting the power of king or queen.

This is different from other governments because even though it is like an absolute monarchy, the royal family is basically only there for publicity and ceremonies. The royal family has a Parliament that makes all the rules. The king and queen don't have much power over the people. Once again, it is the cabinet.

Malaysia is a constitutional monarchy. Abdul Halim is the king. He is the 14th oldest king.
