1. Heating of the atmosphere - climate change. Heating of the atmosphere can be determined by the carbon dioxide and other gases trapped inside the ice cores, such as the ratio of O-16 to O-18 to determine the temperature of the past years. This can predict if sea levels will raise based on the melting of ice, and other things.
2. Volcanic eruption in the area. This can determine if there was a lot of ash and maybe a extinction event if it was of a high enough mangnitude. Scientists can determine if there was a volcanic eruption by the volcanic ash trapped in air bubbles inside the ice core. This can prove if volcanic ash covered the area years back.

The atmosphere's overall temperature is going to keep rising - also known as climate change - this process is predicted to continue as ice cores have revealed that the past climate was colder than the present climate and that this process is most likely not stopping soon.
2. The events of more volcanic eruptions in the future is likely. Ice cores have shown levels of ash in their layers. This implies that eruptions have happened before, making it a valid thought to think that more can and will happen.

Based on the data in the ice core charts the Earth has started warming since 1000 years ago and will continue to warm steadily. This warming could cause certain species to die out and maybe some plant life as well.

2) As species always do when there is a new problem I think some animals species and plant species will evolve in different ways to adapt the rising temperatures. The species that do not evolve will most likely die out and go extinct. Animals such as polar bears will have to vastly adapt and move their location if the ice caps do all melt.

1. So based on these graphs, I predict that because of the rise of co2 in the atmosphere, temperatures in the atmosphere will start to rise drastically. c02 contributes to the greenhouse effect, trapping in heat from the sunlight. This change in temperature will affect plants and animals, making some go extinct in the process.
2. Also I predict because of these rising temperatures, ice caps will begin to melt, resulting in sea levels beginning to rise. This of course will cause the extinction of many animals, maybe even starting a new era in the process. We can see this because of the changes in temperatures from earlier on millions of years ago compared to today.

1. I predict that the atmosphere will get warmer because that is what the graph shows. The graph shows the atmosphere increasing in temperature and doesn't show any signs of decreasing.
2. I can also predict that ice caps will begin to melt, because the temperatures have been increasing when its supposed to decrease. This could lead to a new Era with extinction of some animals.

1. I predict that the atmosphere will get warmer based on the results of the graph results because it doesnt show anything about the temperature getting lower 2. I predict that the ice caps will start to melt because of the temperature staying up instead of going down, this can cause more animals to lose there homes and become extinct animals

1- We can predict that the atmosphere progressively getting warmer because when we look at the slide named "Possible Futures - temperatures" and the slide named "Variations of the Earth's surface temperature for..." We can see a slight rise in the graphed line which means that it is going to get warmer. It also says 2000-2100 so we already know that scientists also predict this.
2. We can also assume that vostok ice core temperatures are still going to proceed to be somewhat unpredicatble. As we see on the graph, the graphed data is very fluid with its results for it is varying in temperatures.
