She is the main character in the narrative and is portrayed as the hero of the film. She finds herself trapped in her school building at night with her friends. They all soon become victims to a extreme religious group who keep them all hostage.
Other characters involved in the narrative are Sienna's close friends; Remi, Alex, Olly, Freya and Jacob. 
Members of the religious group who are keeping them hostage are also shown, however,  their identities are kept hidden which may lead to some suspicion from Sienna as to who these mystery people are. The main friendship group is introduced to the audience. They are shown discussing their plans for the evening in a park. Sienna seems to be slightly on edge when the others suggest breaking into their school when it becomes dark. She does not agree with breaking into the school however, she feels pressured to go along with her friends. Alex, Sienna's boyfriend, pulls her to the side and manages to persuade her into going along with the plan. They all arrange to meet at the school later on. Sienna is shown walking home alone. Paranoia sets in and she feels as though somebody is watching her through the trees but she continues walking and makes it home safely.

Act 2-
The group reunite outside the school and are waiting on Sienna. She finally arrives and begins to voice her concerns as she does not want to break into their school. Alex puts an arm around her shoulder and kisses her on the head in a comforting way as the begin to walk towards the school building. They reach the back fence and help each other climb over and into the playground at the back of the building. It is here that Sienna's best friend, Remi, cuts her hand on the top of the fence. She brushes it off and wipes the blood on the back of her jeans as the group continue on to a window that has been left open. The group climb through one by one, giggling and chatting as friends do. They make it into the school. 

Act 3-
They all split off into smaller groups. Remi and Freya head off down one corridor, Olly and Jacob down another and Sienna and Alex go another way. They all plan to meet back in the canteen in twenty minutes. Sienna and Alex are shown holding hands, running down a corridor, past science classrooms. They enter a classroom and begin looking through the teachers draws. Inside, a knife is shown and Alex asks out loud why their science teacher would own a knife like this. Sienna jokes that he's probably killed one of his students in the past. They share a kiss before a loud noise causes the two to jump away. The two cautiously approach the closed door leading to the hallway. Before it can be opened, two people burst through the door. The force of the door causes Alex to fall backwards onto the floor. The two people are wearing ski masks and their identities cannot be seen. They grab onto Sienna who tries to fight back but struggles in their hold before she is dragged off. 

Act 4-
Sienna is shown tied up in the canteen. Olly is tied up next to her, a bleeding cut on his forehead. Three masked figures are standing in front of the pair. The one near the front takes his mask off. A man not much older than the teenagers, smiles down at them, a malicious smile. Sienna asks why he is doing this to which he describes the need for a newer and purer world and how their religion will be the beginning of this. Whilst the man is talking, Sienna manages to slip her hands out from rope tying them together. She keeps her hands behind her back. When the other two group members approach her and lift her up, she begins to thrash around. Whilst doing this, she notices a cut on the hand of one of the masked figures. Managing to twist her body around in their grips, she pulls the ski mask off one to reveal Remi. Remi and Sienna have a large argument where it is revealed that all of her friends are tying to sacrifice her and Olly to a believed higher power. It is noticed that Olly has snuck away during the argument so all except Remi go to find him. 

Act 5- 
Remi taunts Sienna, telling her how clueless and naïve she is. This makes Sienna angry and whilst Remi's back is turned, she hits her around the back of the head with a chair and continues to hit her with the chair whilst she is on the floor. She drops the chair on the floor before running towards the stairs. She hears someone hot on her heels so she keeps running up and down the endless hallways, desperately searching for a way out. Hearing someone shout her name, she dives into the nearest classroom, hiding under a desk, her phone being the only light present as she tries to call somebody with her shaking hands. However, her phone has no signal. Suddenly somebody enters the room, their movements extremely slow as they move around the room as if stalking their prey. Sienna covers her mouth with her hand, trying to muffle her loud breathing. Shot shows J behind the desk, about to peer over when a shout is heard from someone outside the classroom saying that they 'got him'. J immediately leaves the room with hast whilst Sienna breaths a sigh of relief. 

Act 6-
She hurriedly stands up, leaves the classroom and heads up the stairs to the top floor, towards the science classrooms she was in with Alex earlier. She enters the room, slipping inside as quickly and quietly as she can, unaware that Freya had seen her enter the room. She heads straight for the draw, remembering that it holds the Swiss army knife. Just as she grabs is, Freya appears behind her, grabbing her hair and throwing her into one of the lab benches. The two initiate in a fight in which Sienna shouts that she never liked Freya before stabbing her in the chest. She exits the classroom and turns down a corridor before bumping into Olly who shouts out in fear. The pair run quickly down the stairs towards the exit. Olly is limping due to a leg injury. They reach the exit but it is locked. As they are trying to open the door, the leader comes up behind Olly and slits his throat. Jacob comes up behind Sienna and grabs her. They take them back to the canteen where candles are lit. The leader places Olly's body onto a table surrounded by candles. The other members surround the body and begin to chant. Sienna, still having the knife tucked in her shoe, manages to stab Jacob multiple times in the arms and chest, causing him to collapse onto the floor. Only Alex and the main leader remain. 

Act 7- 
Sienna runs up the stairs, the main leader hot on her heels. At the top of the stairs, Sienna pushes him down them and he falls down them, lying unconscious at the bottom. Sienna runs through the first floor corridors with only Alex chasing after her now. He spots her and begins to chase after her. He holds her over the balcony, ready to push her off at any minute. Sienna asks him why hes doing this. He admits that he loves her but this is for the greater good. She replies with 'so is this', before kicking him between the legs. Without hesitation, Sienna runs back down the stairs. She lifts up a chair and throws it at the glass door which smashes. She is about to run through when Alex grabs the back of her collar and pulls her towards the table with Olly's body. He drops her into the pile of blood and holds a knife to her neck. However, policer sirens begin to sound causing him to falter as they begin getting louder. She bites down on his hand causing him to shout out and lose his grip on the knife, allowing her to turn around, scramble to pick up the knife and plunge it into the side of his neck. Without hesitation, she runs out of the smashed door and into the light of a police car. The narrative will end with a close-up of a smear of blood at the bottom of the stairs in which the main leader of the extremist group was last scene however, he is no longer there which leaves the audience wondering what happened to him.]]> 2017-10-31 10:22:55 UTC https://padlet.com/han_halim24/5nssh93ccxli/wish/202058188 han_halim24 https://padlet.com/han_halim24/5nssh93ccxli/wish/202083345 The aim of the narrative is to create lots of suspense and tension in order to keep the intended audience entertained. In the genre of psychological thrillers, it can be helpful to use plot twists and jump scares to manipulate the audience. This is done by using a dark and isolated setting such as an abandoned woods or building. In the case for this narrative, I will be using an abandoned school as the main setting as it is quite large and will make it easier to create jump scares. One location is a park or field where the characters are discussing their plans for that evening. The next location will be a road in which the main character is walking on to get home. After this, most of the narrative is set either inside or outside of the school where all the action is shown. The canteen is one of the most important locations as this is where most of the characters will collate. I want the audience to be able to appeal to the characters in the film in order to attract a larger audience. I would aim the film equally at both males and females as there are both male and female characters in the film. Also, I would aim the film at British people due to the film being filmed in Britain and British characters are used which would allow a British audience to feel a sense of familiarity due to the location and nationality of the characters.
