The changes in fabric reflected the shift in tastes and textile technology in Japan overturning simplistic narratives of Japanese’s fashion. 

    Kimono represented the Japanese sense of beauty and femininity, for the most part the basic construction of the kimono hasn’t changed

    -        Changes in dress have gotten form it being wear by royalty, important figures, villages, weeding and traditional events.
