1) Borrowing money is good because they would have access to more money to pay for other expenses.
2)Negotiating treaties was important because if they didn't have that power then they would have many enemies and little trades with other countries.
3)Issuing Coins was good because they were getting taxed for paper money and couldn't use any other thing to pay for something.
4)Limited Court was good because it showed that not one group of people were more important than the other. This was an example of "Checks and Balances".
5) Settling conflicts is good because if they weren't able to settle conflicts then if there was a major problem with the country then that would be another weakness added to all the other weaknesses they would have to deal with. Since the could settle conflicts it would be one less thing they would have to worry about.

The Articles of Confederation had many weaknesses that led it to fail. Daniel Shays was in the military for many extra years. He got taxed straight out of the military with no pay for 5 years. He thought it was unfair and started a revolt. In doing so, him and other men found many more weaknesses that they didn’t agree with.
-These weaknesses can be improved by making it so States had no choice but to pay the taxes so America can afford other expenses. They could also get rid of their unicameral lifestyle and make sure they have one individual leader.

Summary

The Articles of Confederation had failed because of many things. Things such as taxing straight out of the war, not having a national court or President, and the states had the power to decline them asking for money. On the other hand, the A.O.C had many strengths like to borrow money and to issue coins etc. The A.O.C used the states and other money to pay for the Revolutionary war and couldn't pay their debts afterwards. Overall, America needed another document in charge for their country since most things about it people were not happy with.
