People could listen to music on cassette tapes and vinyl records, and they could also watch music videos on MTV for the first time. Teenagers could wear bright clothes, big hairstyles, and enjoy arcade games like Pac-Man. However, people couldn’t use the internet or smartphones, so communication was slower and less instant than today. Families could gather around the TV to watch popular shows, but they couldn’t stream movies or series whenever they wanted. The 80s were unique because people could experience many cultural changes that shaped modern life.

However, people couldn’t use smartphones like today because they were not invented yet. People couldn’t watch streaming videos easily at home because services like Netflix were not common yet.

In the 2000s, people could watch DVDs, but they couldn’t watch movies on Netflix as we do now. It was a time of change and new inventions.
