D -

In the experiment , when we blow air in one of the straw over the over the it creates a low pressure pocket which sucks the water beneath the other straw due to the atmospheric pressure acting upon it which is greater than at the top of the straw. So the water from the cup moves to the top and gets sprayed as a result of the pressure differential between the two points and gets sprayed due to the fast moving air on top of the straw.

According to Bernoulli's experiment, as velocity of a fluid increases, pressure decreases. So when the tent was blown from underneath, the velocity of the air increased. This led to a decrease in pressure. The air on top of the tent had greater pressure and hence the air pushed down the tent wanting to equalize the pressure, thereby collpasing the paper tent.

■In this experiment,
      • When we blow air into the tent, the paper bends down towards the table.
■This is because when we blow air into the tent the air pressure in the tent decreases.
■Hence, the air pressure under the tent is comparatively less than the air pressure above the tent.
■When there is an area with low air pressure, the air the area with high pressure needs to flow into it to make the pressures equal again.
      • In our case, the pressure above the tent had greater pressure when we blew in the tent.
The air pushed down on the tent wanting to equalize the pressure but this made the paper collapse.
■Similarly when we blow air in the v shaped paper the paper closes itself as the sides of the paper had greater pressure wanting to equalize the pressure in between.

To conduct the experiment we must take a cup of water and have two straws. We blow across the top of one straw in the water with the other straw. The water rises up in the first straw and blow across the table. This happens because the air blowing across the straw in the cup reduces the air pressure at that point. The pressure from underneath pulls the water up the straw and the moving air blows the water out and projects the water acting as a *water gun*

As we blow air into the straw placed just above the other straw standing vertically , the water from the glass rises up the straw and is sprayed out .
This is because of the low pressure created at the opening of the vertical straw which sucks the water from the glass causing it to rise . it rises to the top and is sprayed .
The pressure difference creates a vacuum which forces to water to rush towards it taking its place . This is a valid proof for Bernoulli's theorem which states that increase in the speed of a fluid occurs simultaneously with a decrease in pressure or a decrease in the fluid's potential energy.
