Synopsis of Surah Al-Sajadah

Ayat 1-9:

1. Remove all doubt about the Quran that have been revealed by the lord of all worlds.
2. Pay our attention to the inexhaustible beauty of the universe so that we contemplate what we see and thus enjoy it.
3. Manifest our gratitude by practicing the message of the Quran.

Ayat 10-17:

1. The third pillar of faith in this Chapter is the belief in the Hereafter and the recreation of men. The ultimate awakening and punishment are also a logical conclusion.
2. The soul which has been seized by the official angel of death will be the same soul being presented to Allah for assessment and punishment.
3. The psyche of the criminals and sinners in the Hereafter of being humble to Allah by force not by choice.
4. Guidance and clear mind (hidayah & tawfeeq) are the special and exclusive award of Allah.
5. Prostration/bowing down in worshipping Allah is the clear-cut manifestation of faith and good conduct (humility).
6. Characteristics of the true worshippers of Allah; less sleep for consistent connection to Allah and habitual spending for the sale of Allah.
7. The Divine reward is limitless and beyond imagination.

Ayat 18-30:

1. Aware the difference between believers and rebellious.
2. Minor torment in this life is a reminder to take heed before the bigger torment.
3. Educate our members to follow His decision based on Quran.
4. Learn the lessons from past civilization which collapsed and punished.
5. Observe the world to appreciate the greatness of Allah.
6. When we are challenged, focus on what matters most towards Allah.

أَلَا وَإِنَّ فِي الْجَسَدِ مُضْغَةً، إِذَا صَلَحَتْ، صَلَحَ الْجَسَدُ كُلُّهُ، وَإِذَا فَسَدَتْ، فَسَدَ الْجَسَدُ كُلُّهُ، أَلَا وَهِيَ الْقَلْبُ

Meaning: "Know that on the body there is a lump of flesh, if it is good then the whole body is good, if it is bad then the whole body is bad, know that it is the heart (heart)." [Reported by al-Bukhari (52) and Muslim (1599)].

Among the prayers taught by Rasulullah SAW in maintaining the strength of faith in the heart are:

From Anas bin Malik RA said: The Prophet SAW read a lot: 
ا مُقَلِّبَ القُلُوبِ ثَبِّتْ قَلْبِي عَلَى دِينك...إلخ     
Meaning: "O Essence that turns the heart upside down, strengthen my heart so that it is above your religion."

May we all be given the fortitude to remain in the path of Allah SWT until death do us part. Amen.

Daripada Sayyidina Anas r.a daripada Nabi s.a.w bersabda:
Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda: “Tidak akan beriman seseorangpun di kalangan kamu (secara sempurna) sehinggalah dia menyayangi saudaranya seperti mana dia menyayangi dirinya sendiri.”

(Hadis Riwayat Imam Bukhari)

Beberapa pengajaran penting:

 

  1. Tidak akan sempurna iman seseorang mukmin selagi mana dia tidak menyayangi saudaranya yang lain sama seperti dia menyangi dirinya sendiri. Maksud menyayangi di sini adalah mengasihi, mencintai dan merasa gembira sekiranya seseorang Muslim yang lain sentiasa mengerjakan perbuatan-perbuatan yang dicintai Allah swt. Sebaliknya seseorang Mukmin itu pula akan merasa marah dan sedih sekiranya saudara semuslimnya  yang lain hidup dalam  penuh kemaksiatan dan kemurkaan Allah s.w.t.
 

Ini bermakna, kasih sayang yang sejati adalah dia menginginkan saudaranya sentiasa hidup dalam kasih sayang Allah s.w.t, bukannya berada dalam kemurkaan Allah s.w.t

 

  1. Seorang Mukmin yang sejati akan sentiasa mengharapkan temannya dikurniakan kebahagiaan dunia dan akhirat. Dia merasa tenang sekiranya temannya sentiasa sihat, gembira, tidak diuji dengan ujian yang berat atau ditimpa kemiskinan dan sebagainya, bahkan dia terus mendoakan temannya semoga nikmat tersebut berkekalan sehingga ke akhir hayat.
 

Sebaliknya, sekiranya seseorang Muslim itu merasakan kurang senang atau sakit hati dengan kebahagiaan yang dikecapi oleh orang lain, itu adalah satu petanda bahawa orang tersebut belum memiliki iman yang sempurna

 

  1. Ciri-ciri Mukmin yang baik adalah dia akan sentiasa mengambil berat dan peduli tentang keadaan saudaranya yang lain. Ketika mana saudaranya itu diuji dan ditimpa dengan sesuatu musibah, dia sudi untuk menghulurkan sebarang bantuan dan pertolongan semampu yang mungkin bagi meringankan serta meredakan masalah yang dihadapinya
 

  1. Seorang Mukmin dituntut agar melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan yang boleh menggembirakan hati temannya melalui kata-kata yang lembut dan sopan, senyuman yang manis, gurauan yang menyenangkan, hadiah serta dorongan yang baik di mana ia adalah merupakan akhlak yang baik yang perlu diterjemahkan dan dipraktikkan di dalam peribadi seorang Mukmin agar manusia dapat hidup dalam suasana yang berkasih sayang
