Desi rap refers to music and culture that blends hip hop and Indian subcontinent influences.

Mixed into my playlist with loads of other Bollywood songs, rap is something that is always played on road trips and in the house on max volume.

With the beat and sound of the music that is raped to, it's beatboxing. Desi's music covers a wide range of South Asian music from many countries.

Indi-pop is something that listen to all the time. We have playlists over 24 hrs of Indi-pop. It's something that sounds good, and it is easy to pick up the lyrics. When working around the house we blast it from a speaker, and it sets everyone in a good mood. 

There are different instruments and sounds that go into each song. Which is what gives its uniqueness and what I love about it.
