This quote from the story shows that August soon got used to everyone staring, and everyone got used to him. I think that the plot has developed because if people are not going to make fun of his face, then how will the story still be interesting.

"His eyes are an inch below where they should be. They slant downward, like someone had cut slits into his face. They bulge outwards, because his eye cavities are to shallow for his eye. He doesnt have any eyebrows or eye lashes. His head is pinched, where his ears should be. He doesn't have cheek bones." Pg: 88 Catagory: Visualizing

This passage is very good at making the reader visualize what Auggie looks like, because he did not tell us at the begging of the book. Us, as the reader, has probably thought of Auggie looking different.

My Inference is, that Auggie will slowly have more and more friends, and Julian will not have any, therefore making Auggie "popular", and Julian not.

This is something that one of the main characters Miranda said. This was after the play, and Via puts her arm around Miranda. In my opinion this is a good example of how one of the main characters changes. At the beginning of the story, Miranda was thinking that she was too cool for Via, and gossiping about her, but near the end, she has become welcomed, and has felt home when she became closer with Via.

This sentence that the author wrote is very descriptive, and it creates and Image in my mind. The type of writing style that the author has used here is imagery and self to text. I think that it is Imagery because it describes how the stars look in the night sky. I also think that it is text to self, because I can relate to seeing the fire dust float up into the air and become ash.

I believe that this shows the theme, because it is about finding your true self. At first Auggie thought that he was a freak and no one wanted to look at him, because of the extra cells in his face. But then he soon realized, there is no one like him, he is a wonder. Which means that the theme of the story is, find your true self.
