One of the things I found most memorable in this week's module was the hinger in NM videos. This is a subject I have been passionate about for a few years now. I have done several research papers and presentations regarding the need for better meal programs in New Mexico Public Education systems. There have been several studies that have linked bad eating habits to poor school performance. I completely agree with this as New Mexico is ranked as one of the worst states when it comes to providing an adequate amount of nourishment for children to be considered healthy. Meals are all frozen and processed, which is so detrimental for young, developing minds.
