Now that we have the reworked idea; this is really a blessing in disguise. As of the 8th of December, two major developments have happened in relation to Brexit: A deal has been reached on the Irish Bored, UK & EU Citizens' Rights and the total amount that will be payed at the end of the Brexit deadline: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-42277040.

Moreover, as a result of Brexit there have discussions on the devolution of Yorkshire as a county:
http://www.itv.com/news/calendar/update/2017-12-07/last-orders-brexit-and-devolution-on-the-menu/

As a result of these two issues, we could do sections on discussions of Brexit on Yorkshire, or if more specific, Leeds. We could talk to MP's that are in talks about devolution and take that as an angle, as well as the effect of Brexit on Leeds/Yorkshire in regard to: agriculture, transport, business and trade among other things.

As reported by BBC News on Monday, January 15th 2018-Carillion goes bust.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-42687032

This is integral to our story, because it relates to the segment of Yorkshire Devolution. The HS2 project was to be built by Carillion and considered the heart of the argument for Yorkshire Devolution known as “The Northern Powerhouse”. I am not saying it won’t stop Yorkshire Devolution from happening; just something that stregnthened that particular argument.

Questions for Philip

I had interviewed Philip before posting this.
The interview was based on Brexit; as Philip as he was an avid supporter of the issue.
With the first question i couldn't hope for a preferred outcome, as that was solely Philips opinion.
In regard to the second question, i had hoped he'd say yes, to give the impression that his party are doing a hood job with Brexit. However i also hoped he'd say no at the same time because the media branded Brexit as "uncertainty" and with that in mind, would also showcased that Britain is capable of standing on its own two feet.
The third question i had imagined he'd give the response that he did, due to the fact that the Government never branded it as that, and as such, Philip would generate the same response.
The fourth question surprised me the most, as i'd hoped that he'd say yes (with the majority of Conservatives backing leave as well as other MP's from other political parties). However he did raise an interesting point: he said, if the gross figure had been printed on the side of the bus (£10 Billion) more people would've sought credibility in Vote Leave.
As for the fifth question i had expected the repsonse,in terms of what was said, but at the same time i didn't. Even though it did exemplify, as to why people voted Brexit; part of his answer suggested a slight sense of ignorance to the question asked.
With the sixth question i didn't expect, what his answer turned out to be. Although he did raise a good point: even before we we're in the EU we had visa free travel; so in that respect, it did answer the question.
For question seven, i had expected the response; simply because it had already been outlined in a joint agreement with the UK and the EU on December 8th 2017.
In regards to the eighth question, i fully expected his response as simply he was pro Brexit; and he wasn't going to say otherwise!
There was one final question i asked (not on the list of questions) "do you think that Brexit will take longer than reported?" and in regard to the response; it was quite surprising. i had hoped he'd agree with the question (to show that, again, Government were doing well with the process) however; later on, he did state he did had every faith in the Prime Minister to have the deal done; when it said it would be.

Dinah Clarke Questions

With the first quetion i was surprised the answer that was given. With Leeds City Council being such a wide ranging operation, it was surprising they didn't have a contigency plan. But in essence, that's the reason i asked: to see whether they had planned for the eventuallity of loosing/cancellation (this just shows that they hadn't brought up a contingency plan).
As for the second question, i had expected the response, but asked it in the hope that the EU will change their mind (which isn't the case- well as of writing this it isn't!)
With the third question, i had exoected such a repsonse- simply becaiiuse that's what the Leeds BID would've promoted.
In regards to the fourth question i was quite surprised with the response- because i had hope (and indeed thought) the bid would mean building new developments in preperation for the bid itself. The reason i asked this was because so many recent development had been showing up all of a sudden-hence why i aksed that question.
As for the final question, i had expected the repsonse (but not to that level of "spirit" so to speak) but in hindsight that's also why i asked this question.
There was one question i asked, that wasn't listed, and was integral to the overall interview: "how much money was spent on the bid this far?" the reason i asked, was because it was not known to the public, the exact amount of what was spent; but i also felt, i needed to ask that question, as i'm assuming; some of the money was that of taxpayers.
