In the article “We have 12 years to limit climate change catastrophe, warns UN” by Watts (2018) the author warns about the global warming and to limit the increase of temperature by 1.5 Celsius in the next 12 years. Also he states the eaffects (effect n. / affect v.) of the global warming on nature and human life. First, Watts mentions (mention sth.) about UN IPCC and the importance to take serious steps to limit the increase to half Celsius. Moreover, he discuses the effect of 1 Celsius warmth in heated global temperature since the preindustrial time which we can see today from floods, storms, wildfires, and many more these are indicators of the climate change. According to the author, if the global temperature is increased by 2 Celsius then there will be a global shortage of water and food also the loss of nature habitats. He also adds to that 99% of corals will be lost and land will submerge with the increase of sea level will led to the sinking of lands under the sea. Furthermore, the writer explains about the significance of keeping the increase in temperature to half Celsius in limited years through use of electric transportation and reducinge of carbon pollution by 45% by 2030 and reforestation. To conclude, Watts highlights on the time limit and continuous commitment to keep the global temperature under 2 Celsius and hopes that the authorities will take the latest report seriously.

the author discusses about climate change and how people can prevent the climate change. Unfortunately, the author warns that people  have only 12 years to slow narrow down climate change. If people  do not intervene immediately, it might be too late for everything (you need to make the problems we face because of climate change clear here). Moreover, the author thinks  that with different combinations of land use and technological change, (you need to state the other solutions he suggested here people can prevent the temperature rise by 2 degrees in the World. He is worried because the climate change is taking place faster and earlier than expected,on the other hand he is hopeful since there are still solutions for climate change and he also hopes that the authorities will take the latest report into consideration.

The author points that UN IPCC report says take an urgent reacts to reach the target that pledge to keep temptures 1.5 and 2.0 (language hinders meaning). He says warns / stresses / claims that global warming is related with disasters.For example such as hurricanes in USA, drought in Cape Town. Also, Watts discusses (discuss sth.) about climate change’s effects on nature. Insects are vital for pollination of plants lose their habitats at 2.0 celcious. On the other hand oceans are suffering acidity are  is increasing and oxygen level are going down as a result of climate change. The author states IPCC maps out some different ways of land use and technological change. Reforestation is more important.
