He began with working in an upholstery shop while performing and recording demos in Detroit. He grew to prominence with his band The White Stripes. From there he has performed and recorded with new bands like the Dead Weather, The  Raconteurs (my favorite), and very successful solo career. He has also launched his own record label, Third Man Records, which runs a vinyl record plant in his home town of Detroit, helping to bring life back to the community and the vinyl record industry. For example, the song "Cupid" was the most recent song that went viral. The band has multiple good songs even albums, songs as such as "The Grey", "Words in the Water", "Anthology", "The Weight", "All The World Is Mad", "Blood on the Sand", "In Exile", "The long Defeat", "Cold Cash And Cold Hearts", and lastly "Beyond the Pines". These songs that the band has put together are full of meaning and worth. Showing growth in a man turned criminal just to have money for his family but his wife takes it wrong and thinks hes putting the whole family in danger. While battling cancer showing struggles and downsides of working in a big drug trade while his partner Jesse Pinkman having his own struggles with grief, drug abuse, and depression, and trauma trying to make money with Walter white and getting threatened his life over little things. Seeing growth in both characters really stood out to me while both Walter and Jesse argue they always make up and try to do the right thing (to keep Walters family and Jesee himself safe.)
