Riddle

I live in Tyr´s home (God of the sky)

I usually visit the Earth

Giving to animals, people and forests all my benefits

All beings alive love me

If I go to Earth in large amount

I will provoke a lot o f problems 

My friend Thor usually travels with me (God of thunder)

My physical appearance looks like Sunne´s tears (God of the sun)}

 (The rain)

When I hear laughter, your voice echoes clear,
Steps you once took in the halls, so near.
The sound of your joy, a sweet, fleeting sound,
Your playful words, “Boo!” still echo around.

How could I forget your warm embrace,
A comfort I long for, in this empty space.
If time could return, I’d make a choice,
To stand by your side, to hear your voice.

If only once more I could read to you,
Or ask of the skies, or share what we knew,
To stand before you, as we sang with cheer,
A gift so grand, I’d hold it dear.

Each memory of you fills me with grace,
I smile like a fool, longing for your face.

My voice has gone quiet.
No fingers tap my face,
No questions for me to answer.

I knew secrets once.
Whispers, laughter, cries,
But no one speaks to me now.

I sleep through sunless mornings,
Wait through stormy nights.
Once I crossed oceans in seconds,
Now I don't move at all.

I am no sword, no shield,
But I fought boredom, filled silence,
Brought far voices near.
Still, no one thanks me.
I wait and wait and wait.

So I dare you
Look at me, remember me.
Tell me what I am.

My belly vibes to sound when they decide it

Hear me, touch me, stop me

Who am I? I dare you to tell my name

The rain, a weeping veil of grey,

hide the world where joy once resided.

Each drop, a tear I cannot weep,

for dreams now buried, cold and deep.

The wind, a hollow, sad sigh,

Whispers his name across my mind.

It rattles window like bones,

and chills me to my bones.

Although the frost of sadness

still chills my breast,

and weary nights deny my rest,

I will not fight against the storm,

but I will find the strength to stand.

The arid fields await the thaw,

obeying the law of nature.

Despite the fact the pain persists,

must endure the icy chains of winter.

However, through the gray,

a memory that has not died,

his laughter echoes on the breeze,

among the bare and silent trees.

A softer rain begins to fall,

washing the frost from the wall of memory.

That life, although marked by bitter loss,

can find new roots of light and love in the darkness.

Heart´s strength

A gourd is needed to fuel your spirit with light;

from hand to hand, stories are told; 

Loud and excited, I am accepted;

a bond is formed in every heart, simple, pure, a dance divine.

Ladies and men together strong, they face the day:

the crowd is happy and the boast starts;

after they taste me, they face their fate, which never ends,

Guess what I’m called.

Silver-faced and still, I witness all

I borrow the light, but give none in return

Reflecting the image you try to discern

You visit me daily, yet seldom smile

For I reveal what you despise so much

(A mirror)

A water-bearer feeds their cry.

They pass me round with silver tongue,

I burn lips but keep souls warm.

What am I, from southern kin?
