The disease passed through Libya, Ethiopia, and Egypt and almost two-thirds of the population died in these countries! The symptoms were Thirst, Bloody throat, and tongue, Red skin. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The columbian Exchange was started in Spain in the Caribbean, diseases such as smallpox, measles and bubonic plague were passed along to the populations by the Europeans. These diseases harmed loads of people, with as many as 90 percent dying in the north and south continents. The disease slowed but not cured.</div>]]></description>

The symptoms were fever, coughing up blood, vomiting, swelling etc. Hundreds of thousands of cats and dogs were slaughtered as the possible cause and the disease spread through ports along the Thames.&nbsp;There was no cure!</div>]]></description>

         <title>First Cholera Pandemic- 1817</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The cholera pandemic was the first of seven cholera pandemics over the next 150 years. Where one million people died. It spread cholera to Spain, Africa, Indonesia, China, Japan, Italy, Germany and America, where it killed 150,000 people. Spreading through it infected water and food, the bacterium was passed along to British soldiers who brought it to India where millions more died. The symptoms were thirst, leg cramps, vomiting etc. The pump shutdown&nbsp;ended it.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>After Fiji was ceded to the British Empire. A royal party was hosted in Australia as a gift from Queen Victoria. Arriving during a measles outbreak, the royal party brought the disease back to their island and spread it. The symptoms were high fever, a runny nose, cough, red and watery eyes, and white spots inside the cheeks.</div>]]></description>
