I learned that there are more than one trillion cells in the human. Also that we have more than 200 bones in our body. Our body has many systems, some of them are the muscular system, the skeletal system, the nervous system and the digestive system.

I think that the most helpful part of the book is the table of contents because it shows the whole lay out of the book with all the sections and pages. If I wanted to learn about a certain body part and not go through the whole book I just have to go to the table of contents.

This book was not written by any single person. It was put together by a group of editors from the Smithsonian. The copyright page says that the Smithsonian is the worlds largest museum and research complex. I visited 2 Smithsonian museums when I went to Washington D.C. and I learned a lot. But many people cannot go visit the actual museums. So, I think that they made this book so that kids can learn about the Human Body without having to travel to D.C.

I still have lots of questions about DNA. There isn't a section about DNA. When I go to the index I can see several pages where it is mentioned but it just says little information. How small is it actually? Is it actually color coded? Can we see it in a microscope? What are adenine, thymine, cytosine and guanine? How does it pick what to put in the genome of a new baby?
