Solution 1: Establishing a Consistent Sleep Routine
A practical solution to insomnia is creating a consistent sleep routine. Students can develop habits such as going to bed and waking up at the same time every day.

Solution 2: Using Relaxation Techniques
Another solution is practicing relaxation techniques, such as meditation, progressive muscle relaxation, or deep breathing exercises, which calm the mind before sleep.

Why it’s a Problem:
It causes disease, increased healthcare costs, and reduced well-being.

Who is Impacted:
Individuals, families, communities, and healthcare systems are severely affected worldwide.

Consequences of Inaction:
Higher obesity rates, worsening health, and increased healthcare expenses follow.

Currently, majority of universities tend to cost higher college tuition to international students and out-state students. The tuition to international students are not slightly higher than in-state students; it cost more than double of in state tuition. Although some private universities have same tuition for both in-state and out-state, this case universities place not affordable tuition to both.

Why is It a Problem? :

Numerous international students quite their academic journey because of unaffordable college tuition to international students. It does not exclusively targets international students. This price discrimination reduces choice of universities to apply to students from other states.

Possible Solutions :

1. Expanding Scholar Ship Opportunities for International Students :

Currently, even if international students have high GPA, some scholarship programs only admit students who has American citizenship to apply their program. Reducing these restrictions will help international and out-state students to cover their tuition.

2. Making International Students Available to Work In United States :

Students who are from foreign countries and have F-1 visa can not work in the United States now. Abolishing these restriction or giving exceptions for international students who are attending 4 years universities to work in the United States will help international students to cover their tuition.

Universities can offer budgeting and financial tips tailored to international students.

Flexible Payment Plans

Allow students to pay tuition in smaller installments to ease financial stress.

Mental health issues among college students have reached crisis levels, with rising rates of anxiety, depression, and stress that impact students’ well-being and academic success. This issue is more than just an academic barrier—it impacts students’ personal lives, relationships, and futures.

Why This Is a Problem:

As students cope with the academic, financial, and social pressures of college life, their mental health often deteriorates. Without proper support, these issues can lead to serious consequences, such as academic failure, substance abuse, and even self-harm. Struggling to manage mental health while maintaining academic responsibilities creates a cycle of stress and failure that impacts their future and overall well-being.

Directly impacted are students who often face these issues alone and may feel isolated or reluctant to seek help.
