I live in Cali, specifically in the San Vicente neighborhood on Calle 24. My residence is an apartment on the 5th floor of a building, which I share with my beloved grandmother and father. The area boasts various amenities, as it is situated near a main avenue of the city, surrounded by picturesque mountain views, and within walking distance of a shopping mall.
 
Regarding my daily routine, I usually wake up at 7 a.m. and have breakfast around 7:30 a.m. My breakfast typically consists of eggs with bread or cookies; however, when running late, I opt for cereal instead. Afterward, I head to work at 8 o’clock to open the store. Since I do not have a fixed lunch hour, I eat whenever there is a lull in customer activity, alternating between rice dishes accompanied by meat or chicken, and always enjoying a salad on the side. Later, I return home at 8 p.m., eat dinner, and then dedicate two hours to studying. My dinner often mirrors my lunch options. Finally, after a long day, I go to bed around midnight. During weekends, I usually work, but when I have a day off, I like to relax at home or go out to eat. Moreover, one of my personal goals for this year is to allocate an hour each day to improving my English skills.

If you're a nature lover, you must visit Rio Pance, a beautiful place to relax and enjoy the landscape. You can also visit the Cat Statue, located in San Antonio neighborhood.

  • Typical food: In Cali, you can enjoy a mixture of indigenous, African, and Spanish influences. A popular drink in the city is Lulada, a refreshing drink made with lulo fruit juice, ice, and sugar. If you want to try something sweet, I recommend Pandebono, a cheese bread made with cornmeal and cassava starch. And if you're looking for something to drink, try Guarapo, a refreshing drink made with sugarcane juice.

  • Main celebrations: The Cali Fair is the biggest celebration in the city and takes place every December. This festival is a celebration of music, dance, and art, and attracts visitors from all over the world.

  • Activities for visitors: In Cali, there are many things to do. If you like history, you can visit Cristo Rey, a giant statue of Christ that dominates the city's skyline. If you prefer nature, you can take a hike in Pico en Loro or swim in Rio Pance. And if you're a soccer fan, you can't miss a game at Estadio Pascual Guerrero.

Durante el proceso de aprendizaje de este e-Book, me esforcé al máximo para estudiar y realizar las prácticas de todo el contenido, y creo que lo logré en gran medida. Me otorgaría un 8/10 en este aspecto.

En cuanto a mi participación en el foro, aporte asi  unos dias antes del cierre de la actividad 4/10

Dediqué tiempo y esfuerzo para preparar y realizar una buena presentación oral en el video y/o encuentro sincrónico, y aunque aún tengo margen de mejora, creo que fue un buen trabajo. Me asignaría un 7/10 en esta área.

Definitivamente, me siento más seguro al expresarme oralmente en inglés, ya que este curso me ha brindado herramientas y técnicas valiosas para mejorar mis habilidades lingüísticas. Me calificaría con un 8/10 en términos de confianza.

Este aprendizaje ha aportado enormemente a mi vida personal y profesional. Por un lado, me ha permitido comunicarme con más fluidez en un segundo idioma, lo cual me abre puertas a nuevas oportunidades y experiencias. En el ámbito profesional, el dominio del inglés es esencial para crecer en mi carrera, y estoy convencido de que este curso me ha acercado a ese objetivo. En este aspecto, me daría un 8/10.

En resumen, me siento satisfecho con mi desempeño y compromiso en este curso, aunque siempre hay espacio para mejorar y seguir creciendo. Mi calificación general sería de 8/10.
