For the Winter Olympics, we had three sports: bobsledding, curling, and ski jump. For each sport we had to make something. For bobsledding, we had to make them bobsled, for curling we had to make the stones, and for the ski jump we had to make the skis along with a person riding on them. Savannah was my partner for all three sports. I learned about how the sports work, the physics behind them, and that it takes time to make a good design that is successfully. I learned that in bobsledding, the sled had to be fast and aerodynamic. In curling, the stones had to be the perfect weight, they couldn't be too heavy otherwise you wouldn't be able to blow them, and they couldn't be too light otherwise you'd blow them off. It was also all about technique. I learned that in the ski jump it couldn't be too heavy otherwise it wouldn't go off, it would just sit at the end of the ramp. If I could do anything different I don't think I would change anything. I think Savannah and I did our best, and we had fun doing it. Since we weren't too caught up in winning, we weren't disappointed that we didn't. Overall, it was really fun and a great experience.
