It would have been enough to have been freed from Egypt – dayenu. It would have been enough to have been given the gift of the Torah with its laws and stories and wisdom – dayenu. It would have been enough to have been given the gift of Shabbat and its separation in time and space – dayenu. But we have been given so many gifts.
