Times are changing and students’ issues are changing. We as educators must adapt to a school cultural of support and social acceptance of diversity of students. Also create a safe environment where all students can learn no matter their sexual orientation. If no action is taken to support sexual minority students from sexual prejudice, they have a higher risk of substance abuse and being isolated by peers. By providing service to students need will help them academically and socially.
