Expectations should be set to focus on important ideas and hold students accountable. Personal goals can be a great way to teach students self regulation and accountability in the classroom. Scaffolding methods in the classroom such as checklists can be used to keep students on track. Helping students stay engaged and on track can help reduce negative behavior and reinforce positive behavior. Managing emotions can be a significant key to good classroom management. Developing self assessments and reflections can help students motivate themselves to work harder and do better. </div>]]></description>

It is important to understand that all students will have different strategies to solve problems. Presenting information through a single form can bring about inequalities and confusion for learners. Clarity in vocabulary and structure will allow students to understand concepts easier and more efficiently. Keep concepts simple and easy to understand will keep students from becoming overwhelmed. Interactive videos and games are a great way to keep students engaged and allow them to express their own presentations. </div>]]></description>
