After WW2, the Viet Minh launched a guerrilla war against the French, seeking their independence. This was known as the First Indochina War. Guerilla war/warfare is a irregular form of warfare where small groups of combatants use military tactics such as ambushes, sabotages, raids, etc, to fight a larger military force.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

This was a turning point&nbsp;in the war and led to France's withdrawal from Vietnam.</div>]]></description>
