I will always remember your dedication, love and passion when I took Art under your study. You never fail to guide, inspire and support throughout the journey. I am so grateful for the gift you shared and whenever I step into an art gallery it brings back fond memories of the time interacting and learning from you. Even today whenever I share my watercolour painting with you, you make time to share your feedback to encourage me to improve. Thank you ♥️

We are the “Charlie Angels” you taught from 1994–1998 — the noisiest bunch during those ART lesson days at the old Tanglin Technical Secondary School before we moved to the current school in Queenstown.

Thank you so much for the fond memories that we will always carry with us. You were so patient with us while teaching Batik design and live drawing. It’s truly amazing that you have been teaching for so many years and are still making a difference.

Wishing you a very happy retirement. We hope you enjoy this new chapter of your life and get to spend lots of wonderful time with your loved ones.

Thank you for all your words of advice, I would have never carried on the path of the arts if it wasn’t for your teachings. I still remember the days where you would spend your friday afternoon's teaching oil painting. You have helped me flourish my passion in arts and i hope one day i can come back and show you the labour of your teaching.

4 years as my CCA teacher. He believed in me when I doubted myself. Never see him angry. Always jovial and bubbly.

Though I'm not his art student but his art classroom is always a welcoming place. I fondly remember going there after school/CCA to see him and his students arts.

Even though I never had the chance to be in your class, I have heard nothing but great and wonderful things about you from the many students you have taught. Every encounter outside the classroom showed me your warm smile and pleasant disposition, which truly reflects the kind of educator you are.

Thank you for being such a positive influence to so many. May you always be blessed with good health, happiness, and prosperity.

Not sure if you remember me, but I was one of your students in 2018 and 2019 Art class, in class 1B and 2B. I remember vividly during art class, you would go around the room, chatting to almost everyone and giving guidance on areas that can be improved, creating lots of joyful memories. Even though I really disliked Art as a subject, but I really treasure those days when it was your class. I'm sure many others would agree and feel the same like me. Thank you Mr Sairi for your 50 years of service to QTSS. Time really passed by quickly, and I sincerely hope you are still enjoying your retirement years and to always stay healthy as ever.

50 years of faithful service in the same school is a truly remarkable legacy. Over the decades, you have inspired generations of students with your passion, artistic skills and deep commitment in teaching, leaving an enduring impact on many lives.

I have been privileged to know you since my early days as a beginning art teacher (I started teaching in 1993)-from attending the then CPDD Art unit meeting sessions to serving together in SEAB marking duties. Happy to have the opportunity to meet you and your art team in 2019 in QTSS in prep for FSBB as well. Your generosity in sharing your experience, coupled with your jovial and humorous nature, made every interaction a joy and left a lasting impression on those around you.

Thank you for being so warm and welcoming during my first stint in the marking team in the 1990s. While the marking sessions were always serious and intense, (rightfully so cos its examination pieces after all!!!) we looked forward to our breaks in between as you filled those time with your riddles and jokes :)!

Thank you for showing me what a caring teacher looks like, and for sharing your experiences, teaching tips, encouragement and inspiring words when I was a young teacher.
