James I (1603-1625)

My name is King James I, and I was the first Puritan King after the Great Queen Elizabeth. I had managed to survive my own assassination during The Great Gunpowder Plot in 1605 by the English Roman Catholics. My beliefs in the divine rights of Kings (Monarchs ruled with the authority bestowed upon them by God) made me eventually have the Bible translated to English and creating the "King James version" of the Bible.

Charles I (1625-1649)

My name is Charles I, and just like James I, I also believe in the divine rights of Kings. During my ruling, my conflict with Parliament had eventually lead me into the English Civil War in 1634. As of now, I am unfortunately scheduled to be executed for treason against my own country, so this will be my farewell to anyone who reads this.

Oliver Cromwell (1649-1658)

My name is Oliver Cromwell, a military leader that had emerged during the English Civil War. As a Puritan Army General, and my success in the Civil War, I was soon crowned the "Lord Protecter" and ruled England for the remainder of my life and unfortunately met my demise in 1658. During my ruling, I had changed the government of England by abolishing the monarchy and eventually establishing the Commonwealth.

Charles II (1658-1685)

I am Charles II, my father, being Charles I, gave me the chance to have the throne and rule over England. Unfortunately, I was exiled by Oliver Cromwell during his ruling, since I had posed a threat to him from my privilege of being able to become king. After the death of Oliver Cromwell, I had eventually taken rule over England and restored the Monarchy, my restoration soon titled to be "The Restoration Period".

James II (1685-1688)

I, James II, was quite the "busy" man during my ruling, having 12 "illegitimate" children, and being the last Roman Catholic King of England, Ireland, and Scotland. The majority of England was Protestant, eventually leading to another Catholic King to make them mad and soon having to face challenges regarding religions. Due to the piling conflict and challenges with religion and many more, I was eventually overthrown and "The Glorious Revolution of England" shortly began.

William & Mary (1688-1702)

My name is Mary, also known as being the daughter of King James II, but raised Protestant unlike my father. When the parliament eventually overthrew my father, they shortly asked me to marry William of Orange, a Protestant Dutch Prince and my 1st cousin, to rule jointly as a Protestant alternative. Together, our ruling soon began the Constitutional Monarchy in England by agreeing to govern in accordance with the laws and decisions of Parliament.
