What brand image have you created for your artist / band? Who are they similar to? How have you created this “brand identity / image” across your three products - similar images, colours, wording, style etc.? Why is this important when creating multiple products? Why is it important to have a strong brand image?

The image we have tried to create though our character is very relaxed and care-free, we have achieved this through his attitudes, body language and mise-en-scene in correlation to the music video lyrics and the real artist. He is very similar to Verb T and this is simply because of a relation in culture and common interests, as well as our artist viewing all of the real artists' content for inspiration of style, synching technique and body movements. I also created links between the three products through my theme of black and white and similar portrayals of quirky, mis-matched outfits to keep to our artists aesthetic. Consistency through the products is vital in order to make the products easy to follow for my audience, to ensure understanding and no confusion. The artist must also have a sense of likability or controversy in order to create popularity or artist coverage.

How do they look part of the same “promotional” package? What aspects of the video link with the digipak / magazine advert – representation of star / band, visual style, iconography, mise-en-scene, use of text, genre conventions etc. Compare with existing products (refer to your research) to show how you have created synergy (links between products) across your three products.

An effective combination of work is essential because what we are creating is replicating a marketing campaign for a music video. A marketing campaigns main aim is to promote a business, product or service. Marketing campaigns must be effective so that the film draws in a large audience and therefore gets more money, as well as promoting the artist themselves. I have created synergy between all of my products through my consistent colour pallet of black and white, as well as using text repetitively to create association. I have also created intertextuality by using a 'Scarface' inspired aesthetic within my ancillary products which creates a direct link between them, making them recognisable for my audience. We have also created a very relaxed, humorous representation of the artist through his very conventional, yet mis-matched and eccentric outfits; fur coats, timberland boots, hoodies and tracksuit bottoms are all very conventional of the rap genre however within our video, are presented in a sense of almost mockery, keeping with the song theme of being an unconventional rapper due to his lifestyle of staying indoors.

How do you think your package will “sell” the song / album to your target audience? Do you think your target audience will be attracted to your texts? Why? What is the audience appeal (you can bring in audience theory here). Is it similar to other products? Would they aspire / admire / relate to the representations constructed within your texts? Is it conventional / unconventional / quirky / interesting / safe, etc.?
