         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Both should be in accordance with reason to achieve eudaimonia.&nbsp;<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>Intellectual Virtue <br>- or virtue of thought is achieved through education, time, and experience.</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>- <strong>key intellectual virtues:</strong> <strong><em>Wisdom</em></strong><strong> (guides ethical behavior) and </strong><strong><em>Understanding</em></strong><strong> (gained form scientific endeavors and contemplation.) Both are achieved through formal and non-formal means.&nbsp;</strong></div><div><br></div><div><strong>Moral Virtue<br>-</strong>&nbsp;<strong>virtue that comes about as a result of habit.</strong>&nbsp;</div><div>-<strong> not innate.<br>- some key moral virtues: generosity, temperance, and courage.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>-<strong> controlled by practical wisdom (ability to make right judgment).</strong></div><div>-<strong> owed its development to how one nurtured it as habit.</strong></div><div>- <strong>can be learned.</strong></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Virtue and Vice are two extreme concepts.&nbsp;<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>Virtue&nbsp;<br>- Acc. to Aristotle, it was a mean between two vices.</strong></div><div>-&nbsp; <strong>being the foundation of: self-disciplined, having good disposition, has good character developing, its initiative to cling to what is good or courtesy.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>- <strong>the “good” qualities a person possess.&nbsp;<br></strong><br></div><div><strong>Vice&nbsp;<br>- the absence of virtue.<br>- does not lead happiness.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>- <strong>experience bitterness and discomfort of life, and response with certain feelings/emotions.&nbsp;</strong></div><div>- <strong>immoral or wicked behavior.</strong><br>- <strong>consider as the “bad qualities”.&nbsp;</strong></div>]]></description>
