I didn't know that Gandhi was a sexual predator. He was a successful man/lawyer and led India's revolution against the British to victory, but he was very strange. Sleeping naked in the same bed as your teenage grand-niece at the age of 77 is not acceptable.

Ghandi was internationally known as a symbol of peace. he believed in non-violence as a way of life and always chose peaceful protests over riots. But he was weird and ¨tested¨ his ¨celibacy¨with little girls so not that good of a person

Nikki Giovanni is one of the more interesting writers out of ones I´ve seen. Her narrative through her poems are densely packed and minimal but it says so much while saying so little. So becoming a narrative writer would be a daunting task but i´m willing to take that challenge.

She is the kind of writer where you can feel what she is feeling through reading her works. I also want to be a very descriptive writer because I like descriptive works and Nikki Giovanni is very good at descriptive writing. She also is a very esteemed poet which I didn't know about her.

I didn’t know but I found out Gandhi would sleep with teen to test is celibacy. I was blown away because when you think about him you only think about good. Also, I believe I seen somewhere he was racist then seen the issue then he changed. I couldn’t imagine a man who fought for his people but had a prejudice for another.

Before reading I knew that Ghandi wasn’t the best person In the world but had been valued by many for the leadership roles he has done. I ended up finding out he slept with multiple teenagers naked while being older. Apparently it was a test in his eyes to make sure he wasn’t interested in younger girls. I find that disgusting. Something I found very humorous in a macabre way, is the fact that Gandhi´s father died while he was making love to his wife. Being in arranged marriage since he was thirteen and having is father die when he sixteen must have traumatized him. That event explains his voluntary celibacy in the twilight year of life.

I would want to become a poem writer because they take less criticism than the average book writer. And Nikki Giovanni showed how easy it looks to talk to a live studio audience and that give me an additional 0.5% confidence that I could do the same. And she has jokes so that gives me a role model to inspire my jokes.

Toni Morrison was a big person when it came to the literary world. Her novels tend to describe the suffering and hard times that blacks have went through in the past, times like the great depression and the American war. I feel like for Toni to write such novels that spoke the truth about what blacks went through and still could be going through today, helped people understand their struggles.

I chose to reflect on Toni Morrison's Legacy. Toni was an outstanding African- American novelist from Ohio. Growing up in there during the great depression there brought not only economic hardship but racial disparities upon Toni. However, like a hero, she allowed the adversity she faced to be shaped in to everlasting novels! Ms. Morrison explored and analyzed the black woman's true experience regarding beauty in lifestyle in America. She wrote her breakout novel "The bluest eye" while working as an editor and simultaneously helping her son out at his diner. It was her utter devotion for producing works like these that lead to her earning coveted awards such as the pulitzer and noble peace prize.May she rest in peace.

Gandhi was a thoughtful writer, who often would break down the question and try to relate it to the experiences he's been through, or what he's witnessed. He strives for equality and justice. He puts the power in the people with his inspiring and strong words. -Phillip

August Wilson was someone who never gave up on his dream because back in his childhood time he didn't have enough money to buy things that he wanted, in short way, he was poor and his family also. But, he started to became a writer and as a writer, this job help him won a Bush and started to live a happy life as a playwright.

Before reading, I had prior knowledge of his role in fighting for his people. Although he had his peoples back he was racist before maturing. As he matured he realized his acts had affected his people in every way. He had led a protest for salt to prove a point, he got his own salt after he walked mad far. He was very peaceful and preached about non violence. His people valued him and looked at him as a leader.

I really appreciated the writing of August Wilson and how he impacted modern theater. I would love to develop the skills to write about a real life problem (racism, the African american experience) to showcase their lifestyle and raise awareness to the life of those who aren't typically treated equally and not represented properly especially in theater.

Something I found very interesting about Toni, is how she has this amazing way of depicting the narrators via her works, making you feel as if you were experiencing it yourself. Her novel about black women and their experiences made her famous. She grew up with a passion for books and stories, which has got her to this point nowadays.

Toni Morrison was so descriptive in her writing that you could imagine what you're reading. She grabbed her audiences attention with her most unthinkable cliffhangers. She was passionate in all she did and there was no doubt that she had the upmost faith in her students. Without losing any titles along the way, Morrison was a mother, writer, author, friend, and motivated individual.
