In class this week we discussed the ideas of imperialism and the Roman Empire, on your padlet I would like for you to make a comparison between the Roman Empire and McDonald’s fast food company. Do you think they’re similar or completely different? Explain why?

First of all the definition of Imperialism is a policy of extending a country's power and influence through diplomacy or military force. In this sense it's the United States and not a policy It's Mcdonald's. They build Mcdonalds very close to each other and expand at an astonishing rate. Making the food easier to find and faster to get. WIth this in place why not eat Mcdonalds becomes a thing and everyone starts to eat it and Mcdonalds being a smart company just continues to expand and make more and more money. This ties back into the Roman empire because the high powers began to protect and provide for the civilians more and more allowing to draw the attention and attracted love from the civilians and they began to expand.
