         <description><![CDATA[<div>First you find the lowest common denominator which is 12 but then you have to multiply 3 times 3 because, you had to multiply the 4 by 3 to get 12 and you have to do anything you did to the denominator with the numerator and from multiplying 3 and 3 you get 9 so your first fraction is 9/12 your second fraction would be 4/12 because, you multiply 3 by 4 which gives you 12 and 1 times 4 which gives you 4. Then you add 9/12 and 4/12 together and your sum is 13/12 or 1 1/12. you only add both numerators NOT denominators.&nbsp;Great work, love the vocab usage!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>First, you see if there is a common denominator. If there isn't (like the problem above) you have to find one by multiplying or dividing any number to find it. Next, you find the common denominator and do the same thing you did to the denominator as you did to the numerator and add the problem. (3/4 = 9/12 1/3 = 4/12. 9/12 + 4/12= 13/12) since the answer is an improper fraction than you see how many times 12 can go into 13 and see what you have let over. (Answer: 13/12 = 1 1/12)  Great use of vocabulary!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>First you have to change the denominator because the denominators have to be equal and 3 and 4 both go onto 12 so the denominator&nbsp; is 12 and what you do to the denominator you do to the numerator and 4 times 1 =4 so 1/3 is now&nbsp; 4/12 and you do the same thing to 3/4 and 3/4 is now 9/12 and 4/12+9/12=&nbsp; 13/12 and 13/12= 1&nbsp; 1/12.          <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>First you have to make a common denominator, which would be 12 so you multiply the denominators by a number that makes them equal 12.&nbsp; Also, whatever you multiply the denominator by, you have to multiply the numerator by.&nbsp; Since 12 is the LCM you have to multiply the denominators to get to 12.&nbsp; So 3/4 x 3 = 9/12 and 1/3 x 4 = 4/12.&nbsp; So after your fractions are common, you add the numerators, and the denominator stays the same! 9/12 + 4/12=&nbsp; 13/12 which is equal to 1 1/12.          <description><![CDATA[<div>First, you find a common denominator wich is 12, then&nbsp; you times 3 times 3 because it takes 3 times&nbsp; for 4 to&nbsp; get into 12 then you times 4 times one because it takes 3 times to go in to twelve, then after you have the new numerators, you add them up and keep the denomiators the same, and your answer would be&nbsp; 13/12&nbsp; but this answer is a pmproper fraction so you have to change it into a mixed number wich would equal 1 1/12. IU got this answer because 12 gos into 13 1 time so you have a remander of one.  Great job, like the use of vocab!</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>First you find a common denominator which is 12 then you have to do whatever you did to the bottom to the top so for example you multiplied 4x3 to get 12 so then you have to do 3x3 to have it correct. Next you only add the numerators and you keep the denominators the same so 9+4 and keep the bottom the same at 12. If you have an improper fraction then you see how many times the bottom goes into the top and then the remainder is added to the fraction. In this case the answer is 13/12 but 12 goes into 13 once with one left so the answer is 1 1/12.  Nice work.</div>]]></description>
