         <description><![CDATA[<p>Fixed mindset makes kids think they are not going to be smart.  </p><p>Fixed mindset: looking smart is most important..</p><p>effort is negative. </p><p>Student becomes helpless or avoiders. </p><p>Growth Mindset: learning is most important. </p><p>Effort is positive. </p><p>Students become Resililant! </p><p>Tell kids: learning takes time, mistakes are useful, having kids admit they are not good at something. It is not humiliating to make a mistake, </p><p>Get them to laugh at their own shortcomings. </p><p>You can do this, if. . . .  (Don't say: "you can do this" without using the "if" on the end.  </p>]]></description>
