While using this vocabulary, I would teach a lesson on composting and gardening. Through this lesson, I would be able to incorporate science and reading into one. I would start by showing my students an interesting video about biodegradable objects and the breakdown of natural objects. Then, I would explain to them the concept of composting and why people composting. I would then read them a story about gardening and farming how important it is for the food that we eat every day. Then we would go over this vocabulary list and do an activity about making our own composting buckets.
