1. Students are encouraged by the Ministry of Education to bring their own devices to school and gave the assurance that they will provide the technical support for students to utilize their devices safely and appropriately.

2. To date there are no systems in place to monitor the contents, videos, pictures, games and applications saved on their personal systems/devices.

3. The MOE is vague on whose responsibility it is to secure these devices. Who takes accountability for the security of these devices? The MOE, the Principal, the parents, students?

1. The Ministry of Education should sensitize all parties involved about its intention and expectation of "Bring Your Own Device". The role of parents in such a policy should be specific.

2. Parents should be accountable for the contents on the students’ devices.

3. Schools will have to monitor the number of devices on the school’s compound and on the school’s network.

4. Proper procedures and systems will have to be implemented by school’s authority to ensure devices are secured throughout the school’s day.

I propose a private/public sector partnership where private companies, citizens and NGOs can create a fund to offset the cost of Internet connectivity in schools across the nation. The government can offer some incentive to companies and individuals to engage in this effort through tax breaks, subsidies, grants and other measures
In the case of my school, we can try to raise funds within our circle of stakeholders to help ease the financial burden of incorporating ICT in the classroom
