Nitric acid is a extremely important chemical used of fertilizers and explosives. To form an exploves, this process will need to react together O2 and NH3 and 5 atmospheres pressure. Futhemore, nitric acid is used to make high explosives such as TNT.

Nitric acid also known as aqua fortis (in

Latin it mean strong water) and spirit of niter. Is a highly corrosive mineral acid. [nitric acid]

So what is mineral acid, basically it is any acid derived from an inorganic compound that dissociates to produce hydrogen ions in water.

It is used to produce ammonium nitrate to manufacture plastic, dye, and fertilizers
3. It is used in liquid-fueled rockets as an oxidizer
4. In its pure forms, it is used in the removal of the wart
5. It is used as a chemical doling agent in electrochemistry
