Features of a sustainable house:
- Solar power is quite pricey but if you come to think it has a lot of benefits like it reduces the electric bill and energy consumption, have a long life span.
- Radiant in-floor heat keeps warmth where it is needed at human level.
- Highly efficient building envelope with spray-in foam insulations which are more effective than fiberglass batting and minimizes mold air infiltration.
- Large window groupings are used to bring in maximum natural daylighting. When possible, they utilize clerestory windows, 2-story spaces, and translucent walls to bring natural light into every part of the home.

I would be living in the woods with fresh air and far from the polluted city adding a lot of plants inside my home to circulate fresh air and removes bad toxins. To reduce my energy bills by generating electricity from the sun through the use of solar panels.

Whenever I see vlogs of couples who live in a trailer, a part of me gets envious. Ever since I've imagined myself living in one and I think it would be very interesting and life-changing experience. Although I don't think I can live inside a trailer forever, I can opt for a small but compact sustainable house just like the one pictured below. Aside from the small footprint With space tight, all items, from carpentry to appliances, are compact, functional and eco-friendly, which in turn reduces living costs like utilities, cleaning and maintenance.

photo taken from google

My idea of a sustainable home is a house that uses materials that can decrease waste and green house gas. Like using LED lights that saves more power and energy. Using non-toxic materials in building the house is also applicable since it will eliminate hazards. I also consider a garden space so that you can plant your own produce and create fresh air from plants.
