I also work as a ICT tutor four to six hours per week trying to help other teachers to use technology in their classes. The biggest problem is the difficulty of choosing right app/equipment for the purpose. There is so many! And we are getting them more and more all the time! Teachers are getting frustrated: first we learn this and then someone says that it's no-good anymore so let's chance to this one. And then they have to use their own time to learn how to use it. In the fast developing world of technology it's essential to be able to find and choose the right type/kind of digital tools which we can use in our teaching practices. Most time teachers get overwhelmed by having so many tools and apps which are now available. Having a tool such as TET-SAT would firstly help them determine their needs based on their own skills and experience and secondly act as a guide in their own path of developing their digital competences. In my experience, I rarely worked with techonology in the classroom, because the tech only gets involved when the students need to write down a text or some interviews. Perhaps, it's my mistake never to build barriers with the environment of technology and the classroom walls. But somehow I can't show them things that I don't know how to work with. For example:
- How do I explain how ClassDojo works?
- Can I be a moderator when the students wrote their notes with OneNote?- How can I introduce geometry with minecraft?
There are so many questions about how to do it and how to use these resources for own good.
In my opinion, technology it's a way to connect students with the outside world and the knowledge the world gave to them.
I can't wait to learn how to use this tool!

Hello everyone, I' m a Design and Technology teacher and elearning specialist for more than decade. I have used many tools and platforms all these years and I have found out that they are becoming more identical (converging in design) and the experience they provide to students is more or less simillar in all of them nowadays. What is missing though, is exactly what this TET SAT tool you are trying to produce: meaning, a tool for teacher and student collaboration, free of restrictions, apart for those ensuring a safe environment. This tool, in my opinion should enable us, teachers, to share lesson ideas and plans, instructional techniques etc. A vast European wide database of curricular objectives and lesson plans categorised by country and subject. A tool that, in addition, would allow us to create online our teaching activities. If this tool was incorporated into a virtual learning environment in smooth and seamless way, it would be ideal.

Later I used PowerPoint to create presentations in which the students explained how gradually they learned.

From my point of view, it is necessary to evaluate everything to make inprovements.
Therefore, it is clear that we need to assess our technology-enhanced teaching. However, it
is clear that it is not possible to evaluate everything with the same tool or in the same way.
Keeping this in mind, I think this project is a really good opportunity to check our teaching
because the tool we are offered has been designed specifically for this purpose. Besides,

I hope TET-SAT can make technology accesible to everyone. Many teachers don't use new resources, apps or gadgets as they are terrified about making a mistake they don't know how to fix. This lack of confidence in themselves can become a problem for the rest when the 'inexpert' is the headmaster/headmistress and their fear prevents others from introducing changes in the school. I think everyone needs self-assessment for everything, especially if you are a teacher. You must be aware of your teaching process, the skills you must have, things you must do, new situations you must adapt etc. Technology is a very useful tool in teaching and in this century, you must absolutely catch up with new trends and technology in education. This is not so easy because there is a very rapid change in technology. Following the change is not sufficient, also, you must know that that's worth appliying. If it is, you must know how to adapt this change into your teaching. At the end, you must assess how it works. In my opiniong, at this stage, a tool for the self-assessment of technology-enhanced teaching will be very useful for teachers.

I think there really is a need for a tool that helps teachers overcome the simple enthusiasm (or skepticism) about using ICT in the classroom. I find that many narratives about so-called good practice with ICT (eg coding) are animated by naïve enthusiasm. It is necessary that the use of ICTs has international guidelines. I am a teacher of English. I used to teach German too. At the moment I teach Young Learners and teenagers.
I think such a tool will improve teachers’ reflection on their use of technology in the classroom. Feedback is very important to help us reflect on our teaching practice and how it can be improved. If we want innovation in our teaching practice, such a tool will definitely make a difference in our teaching as it will help us to act on a regular basis. I would expect it to help me redirect my teaching at my own pace.
