As Mason gets older (around 15) we see how he gets involved with certain things such as alcohol, smoking, and relationships with girls. Since we first met Mason as a young five year old boy, his mom was always there for him, you could tell she loved him very much and always just wanted her kids to be happy even through their toughest times.
