Two giant pandas, Qing Bao and Bao Li, have arrived at the Smithsonian’s National Zoo in Washington, D.C. Visitors got their first look at these pandas in January.


🦋 Monarch Butterflies Making a Comeback

Monarch butterflies, important pollinators, were once endangered due to climate change. However, there's good news: the eastern monarch butterfly population is growing.


🐢 Rescued Sea Turtle Named Ricotta

A sea turtle named Ricotta was rescued and treated at the South Carolina Aquarium's Sea Turtle Care Center after being tangled in fishing line and swallowing some. Ricotta underwent two surgeries and is now recovering.
