Sets the marriage between Demetrius and Hermia

Hermia is introduced when fighting to marry Lysander rather than Demetrius.

Hermia is told she has until the day of the wedding to sort her thoughts and choose either to become a nun, marry Demetrius, or face death.

Hermia agrees with Lysander's plan to meet inside the forest and run away to his relative's land and get married to Hermia.

Act 3:

Hermia thinks Lysander is joking about loving Helena.

Hermia walks in on Lysander and Demetrius, both fighting over Helena.

Hermia, after arguing with Lysander, is now realizing that Lysander hates her.

Hermia begins to run after Helena to fight her, but L and D hold her back.

Hermia states her overwhelming hate and turns on Helena, stating it is their fault.

Introduced when Hermia begins to argue with Egues (Her Father) and Theseus (the Prince of Athens). Lysander and Hermia want to marry but it is forbidden by Egues.

Act 3:

Lysander is put under a love spell and now loves Helena instead of Hermia.

Lysander finds Helena and is attempting to persuade her before Demetrius comes in and sees Helena.

Lysander speaks of hating Hermia in front of her, but refuses to hurt her.

Lysander speaks directly to Hermia and emphasizes his hate for Hermia, and expresses his love for Helena.

Demetrius wants a reward for finding Lysander for Hermia.

Demetrius now has the potion on his eye by Oberon.

Demetrius wakes and sees Helena first, now under the spell and loving her.

Helena is jealous of Hermia and Lysander's relationship and decides to tell Demetrius the plan of the two lovers and attempt to win him over with the truth of Lysander and Hermia.

Act 3:

Helena speaks to Hermia about how they've been like sisters since childhood.

Helena thinks Hermia set both the men upon herself to mock her and make her miserable

Oberon finds out through puck that Titania woke up to love a Ass

Attempts to blame Puck for the result of the fighting from the lovers, but realizes it was his own.

Act 4:

"Arranges" a plan to resolve the current situation between all six lovers by alluring the two men to the forest and breaking the spell that was placed upon them.

Wakes up to see Nick Bottom (Now a Donkey) and falls in love with him due to the love spell cast onto her while she was sleeping.

Comes in during the Worker's rehearsal and transforms Nick Bottom into a Ass (A donkey).

Tells Oberon it is his fault (Oberon told Puck to put the potion on the man with the Athenian garments.)

Puck begins to lure the lovers to the same area.

Act 5:

Puck shares the last lines of the play, saying to critics that if the play was bad, pretend as if it were a dream.

Transformed into a donkey (but is not knowing of it) by Puck

He thinks everyone ran away because he is an Ass (The characteristic, not the animal)

Act 4: Nick is transformed back into a human and finds the Rude Mechanicals again.

All the couples are with their original partner and are participating in a triple wedding.
